Kids Dental Treatments
Worried about your kid’s dental health and tooth decay?
Many children are unsure about their first dental visit, but they don’t have to be.
It is important that your child’s newly erupting teeth (erupting at six and 12 months of age) receive proper dental care and benefit from proper oral hygiene habits right from the beginning. The first visit will consist of a thorough review of your child’s dental and health information alongside with dental examination and discussion on diet, nutrition and good oral hygiene habits.
- Your child should visit a dentist by his/her first birthday.
- The less build up there is to any dental visit the better. Inform your child about the visit and let him/her know the dentist and his staff will explain the routine and answer any questions.
- Refrain from using words that might create unnecessary anxiety, such as a needle, pull, drill or hurt. Our dental team are trained to use more kid-friendly terms that convey the same message.
